Deciding to disconnect and cancel
We would be sad to see you go, but we understand that nothing lasts forever. Before you cancel your account though, we suggest you take a moment to think about why is it that you are cancelling and whether there is something we can help with. If you have concerns about your account and want to discuss these with someone, please call us on 1300 007 001, Option 2.
Initiating the disconnection and closure
If you are using Spirit provided hosted email account, we recommend taking a backup of any data you may have with us before your accounts are closed. Once that’s done, you can proceed with cancelling your account.
To do so submit the Contact form (link here) choosing "Accounts" and "I wish to cancel my services", providing your full name (as listed on the bill), account number and contact details.
Most Internet plans require 30 days minimum notice to disconnect and will be billed up to and including the disconnection date. Additionally, please check if your services are still in contract and be aware of contract payout charges if they apply to your plan. If unsure, please submit account query (via same form as above, choosing Account querry option), to check if your services are still in contract and confirm contract payout charges (if any) before submitting the disconnection request.
